STREIFEN PRESENTS
in collaboration with Leonard Joel
SENTIMENTAL PULL
Hosted by St. Agni Armadale Boutique.
An exhibition tracing attachment through use, proximity and return. New and existing works by Streifen sit in dialogue with time-marked pieces from Leonard Joel, allowing past and present to move without hierarchy.
Streifen is a Melbourne-based design studio founded on the belief that sentimentality is a core impetus within design, acting as both material anchor and a passage through which people carry histories, attachments, and meanings.
Founded by Frances Normoyle and Madeleine Murdoch, Streifen spans object design, creative direction, and exhibition-making, conceiving work both exacting and undone, in equal measure.
The word STREIFEN is rooted in the German meaning “strip,” “touch,” “brush,” or “slip.”
As St. Agni unveils SS26 below, the exhibition sits within interiors designed by Studio McQualter — a shared moment to move between design, objects and atmosphere.
